Newsletter Contributions

We welcome contributions of original writing about nature in and around Toronto (up to 500 words). We also welcome reports, reviews, poems, sketches, paintings and photographs.

To contribute by email: Please send your contribution to newsletter@torontofieldnaturalists.org. Digital photographs/images should have files names that include the subject and your name. Please scale your images to less than 3MB each and include in your email the location, date and any interesting story or other information associated with the image.

To contribute by mail: Please send your contribution to Toronto Field Naturalists, 2 St. Clair Avenue West, 18th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4V 1L5. Please write “Newsletter” on the envelope. Photographs or artwork should be accompanied by a written note indicating the location, date and any interesting story or other information. Photographs or artwork cannot be returned and may be added to TFN Archives.

The Toronto Field Naturalists wish to acknowledge this land through which we walk. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississauga of the Credit River. Today it is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to be on this land.
