TFN Nature Images Show Feb 1

Come and enjoy an afternoon of photos, art and stories at our annual Nature Images Show on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1:30 to 4:00. The show will be held in the auditorium of S. Walter Stewart Library, 170 Memorial Park Ave (one block south of Cosburn, 1 block west of Coxwell). TFN members will present shots taken on outings, hikes, trips, stewardship sessions, and just about everywhere else nature flourishes! Nature artwork will also be on display for us to view at leisure. Light refreshments will be served.

TFN is fortunate to have so many talented photographers and nature artists among its members! If you’re interested in inspiring others with your images of landscapes and biodiversity please reach out to Margaret McRae at 416-429-7821 or via marg.mcrae@gmail.com.

Participants must be TFN members, but the show is open to all who wish to attend so please feel free to bring along some friends!

Toronto Field Naturalists wishes to acknowledge this Land through which we walk. For thousands of years, the Land has been shared by the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, and the Anishinaabe. Toronto is situated on the Land within the Toronto Purchase, Treaty 13, the traditional and treaty Lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is also part of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum, a covenant agreement between Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Wendat peoples and allied nations to peaceably share the land and all its resources. Today, the Land is home to peoples of numerous nations. We are all grateful to have the opportunity to continue to care for and share the beauty of this Land.
