On behalf of our entire organization, many thanks to all our Walk Leaders – your efforts and dedication are greatly appreciated! Interested in becoming a walk leader? We’d be excited to help you share your unique knowledge and passions with your fellow Members!
Preparing To Lead A Walk?
- Complete the Walk Description Form (if you haven’t already)
- Print out the Walk Leader Checklist and bring it on your walk to remind you of what is expected from a leader.
- Review our Walk Leaders Guide which includes how to prepare and ways of handling challenging situations.
- Review the Naturalists’ Code of Ethics, Ethical Nature Viewing and Ethical Nature Photography to help ensure a low-impact outing.
Have You Just Led A Walk?
- Please submit a Walk Leader’s Report to the TFN office within a week of your walk.
- Submit some interesting photos to the newsletter or TFN Archives by emailing them to photography@torontofieldnaturalists.org!
- Share your walk photos on social media with the hashtag #Torontofieldnaturalists so that we can all live vicariously through your lens! Remember to set the photos to “Public” unless you only want people in your friends / followers list to see them.
