Public Walk: Cottonwood Flats Nature & Restoration Walk

Join Toronto Field Naturalists’ president Lynn Miller on a tour through Cottonwood Flats to hear about the history of this once industrial site, how it has been converted much-loved parkland, and the ongoing stewardship that continues to protect the area.

The walk starts outside of the Toronto Police Dog Services training facility at 44 Beechwood Drive. There is a small, free, public parking lot at the trail head at the end of Beechwood Drive. For TTC, take the 72 bus north from Pape subway station, walk west along O’Connor Dr to Beechwood Dr, then north along Beechwood Dr to the entrance of the Police Dog Services. Note: Beechwood Dr is a steep hill.
