TFN’s 2026 Nature Images Show

TFN members enjoyed the annual Nature Images Show, featuring the works of 14 talented individuals who shared their images of the natural world, taken around Toronto and all the way up to Killarney.

Photos in the show ranged from gorgeous landscapes to detailed portraits — particularly of birds. Along with the photography, Joanne Doucette shared her artwork, and Lynn Miller presented images captured by her trail cameras.

A selection of images from the show (from those participants who didn’t submit videos) are shown below and more can be seen on our Instagram channel.

Several entries were videos where photos were accompanied by music to set the tone of the work. Those that used copyright-free music can be found on our YouTube channel in the Nature Images Show playlist.

The Nature Images Show is held on the first Saturday in February each year.

Toronto Field Naturalists wishes to acknowledge this Land through which we walk. For thousands of years, the Land has been shared by the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, and the Anishinaabe. Toronto is situated on the Land within the Toronto Purchase, Treaty 13, the traditional and treaty Lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is also part of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum, a covenant agreement between Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Wendat peoples and allied nations to peaceably share the land and all its resources. Today, the Land is home to peoples of numerous nations. We are all grateful to have the opportunity to continue to care for and share the beauty of this Land.
