Junior Naturalists Event – Shadowland Theatre

All kids ages 6-14 are invited to Join us for a workshop with Shadowland Theater Company on Toronto island for tomorrow April 15th 10am-12pm. We will be dressing up in fantastic bird costumes, exploring the life cycles of some of native birds, and exploring how it feels to be a bird. A great way to kick off the songbird migration season!

One parent stays with the child for the duration of the event.

Meet at the ferry docks at 9:15 am to catch the Ward Island ferry at 9:30

Workshop runs 10am-12pm

No cost except ferry tickets. You can purchase these ahead.

Bring a lunch and binoculars if you wish to do some birding on the island afterwards.

Toronto Field Naturalists wishes to acknowledge this Land through which we walk. For thousands of years, the Land has been shared by the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, and the Anishinaabe. Toronto is situated on the Land within the Toronto Purchase, Treaty 13, the traditional and treaty Lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is also part of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum, a covenant agreement between Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Wendat peoples and allied nations to peaceably share the land and all its resources.
